Apply a thin layer of petroleum jelly to the tube’s threads before replacing the cap. This will facilitate cap removal.

Goop Glue is more useful for automotive uses. However, Shoe Goo is different as it can only be used for shoe repairs. 

So, Goop Glue is better.
