Using Method
First, test the Sentinel 626 adhesive remover on a small area. For the best results, use it at room temperature and read the instructions before using it.
For latex-based carpets, apply 626 directly onto the adhesive. Use a broom, mop, or squeegee to spread and wet it properly.
After that, let it soak and penetrate for 45-90 minutes. Scrape softened adhesive using razor scrapers or squeegees. Repeat the process one or two times as needed.
Lastly, rinse the subfloor thoroughly with clean water and allow it to dry.
For sheet vinyl, remove the wear layer and apply one part hot water solution to four parts Sentinel 626 directly on the adhesive.
After that, soak it for 1-2 hours or until the adhesive can be easily removed with floor scrapers. Once it’s adequately removed, rinse the surface well with clean water and dry.
To clean carpeting, first cut it into 1-3 foot strips with a carpet cutter or utility knife. Then, a solution is made by mixing two parts of hot water and one of Sentinel 626.
Pour the solution directly onto the carpet and soak it for at least 2 hours. Then, remove the carpeting and follow the latex removal procedures to finish.
Apply the Sentinel 747 adhesive remover properly and wet the entire surface. Then, use a sprayer or mop to spread it all over the area.
After that, allow it to penetrate for 10-20 minutes to soften the adhesive. If it’s for wood and outdoor adhesives, soak it for an hour.
Scrape the softened area with a floor scraper, then wash and rinse the subfloor thoroughly with Sentinel 810 Prep—All Surface Floor Cleaner. Lastly, rinse the area well with water for a perfect clean and dry for finishing.
